Harrisburg Business Network (HBN) was founded in 2004 by a local Harrisburg business owner. After several meetings, it was determined that Harrisburg not only needed a networking group, but one that would be different from all the other networking groups that were out there.
The initial hand full of members decided to make HBN an exclusive group that would only allow one business of an industry and decided it would meet twice a month. They also decided that HBN would not be a high pressure referral group but rather it would put emphasis on building solid long lasting business relationships that would hopefully turn into long lasting personal friendships. Over the past several years this is precisely what HBN has come to stand for.
HBN has evolved since it’s beginnings in 2004 and brought in structure and purpose. HBN currently has elected Officers, a 3 person Board of Directors, and an annual Charity Cornhole Tournament. HBN has grown into a group that we are very proud to be a part of and we all look forward to taking it to new places in the future.
